About the team
The People Development team sits at the heart of SumUp's people strategy, running SumUp University, our internal learning hub that helps over 3,000 SumUppers across 37 markets grow, connect, and thrive. As SumUp University scales in 2026 and onwards, we're looking for someone to join us in Berlin and take real ownership of the operational and creative work that keeps our learning programmes running smoothly. This is a chance to get hands-on experience across training coordination, content creation, and internal communications in a fast-moving, global environment.
What you'll do
- Support the end-to-end planning and coordination of internal training sessions, from scheduling and logistics to post-session wrap-up
- Create engaging content such as videos, photos, written materials, and guides to promote SumUp University programmes and increase participation across the business
- Manage recurring admin tasks across Notion, Workday, and Google Suite, keeping our learning operations running without a hitch
- Collaborate with external vendors, facilitators, and internal teams to make sure every training runs on time and to a high standard
- Spot inefficiencies in day-to-day processes and help build smarter ways of working, including AI-assisted tools for repetitive tasks
You'll be great for this role if…
- Currently studying Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Organisational Psychology, or a related field
- Previous experience included supporting HR, People Development, or administrative work, whether through an internship, part-time role, or student assistant position
- Strong working knowledge of Google Suite, with familiarity with tools like Notion or a learning management system (LMS) as a plus
- Comfort creating content across different formats like presentations, short videos, written guides, or visual materials
- Ability to manage multiple recurring tasks independently, flag issues proactively, and adapt quickly when priorities shift
