Legal Consultant - Global Investment Management Firm

We are currently seeking a Legal Consultant - Investment Management to join our team and provide ongoing support to our Fortune 500 clients in the asset management sector:

 Key Requirements

• Review and negotiate NDAs, engagement/mandate letters, term sheets and non‑binding offers 
• Advise deal and investment teams on legal/commercial terms (scope of services, fees, liability/indemnities, etc.)
• Support transaction execution, including coordination with external counsel and ensuring documentation aligns with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to template and process improvements

Requirements

• Circa 3–6 years’ PQE with background from likes of asset management firms, private equity and hedge funds.May consider background from broader financial services for the right candidate
• Demonstrable experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial and transaction documents (particularly NDAs, engagement letters, term sheets and similar)
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail, organisational ability and work in a team based environment
• Chinese skills required
