As the Network and Communications Management Division Director in GSA IT, you will provide leadership and oversight of government and contractor performance to orchestrate IT service delivery of digital infrastructure technologies, including, data/voice/video network, telecommunications, remote access technologies, and audio/visual communications management.

of position: Office of Digital Infrastructure Technologies/GSA ITWe are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed. Provides leadership and oversight of government and contractor performance to orchestrate IT service delivery of digital infrastructure technologies, including, data/voice/video network, telecommunications, remote access technologies, and audio/visual communications management. Work involves managing one or more major multi-year IT initiatives of such magnitude they must be carried out through multiple related IT projects. Determines needs, scope, and priorities of projects to support the organization as well as a wide variety of supporting business functions, taking into account the full range of technological, economic, business, and political factors that may have an impact. As appropriate, develops, implements, and ensures compliance with plans, policies and standards, infrastructures and architectures that establish the technical operational platform of the technical service portfolio. Evaluates business systemrequirements, assesses policy needs, and develops policies to govern IT activities throughout the organization. Takes a leadership role in resolving problems and taking actions to advance the fundamental goals and objectives of programs when intense resistance is encountered due to significant organizational or philosophical conflict, competing objectives, or major resource limitations. Undertakes or directs special studies. Prepares, supervises, or directs the preparation of special reports or position papers involving broad aspects of IT concern. Develops proficiency in contract/subcontracting management, particularly managing different types of contracts, such as Cost, Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials, Research and Development, Hybrid, Interagency, Operations and Sustainment, etc. Oversees the effective delivery of IT services in support of Divisionresponsibilities through contract management and oversight in coordination with one or more Contractor Officer Representative (COR), Contract Specialist (CS) and Contracting Officer (CO). Ensures effective conduct of financial management of a Division through planning, formulation and execution of a budget, including alignment with the technology business management framework.
