YZR Capital- YZR Capital is a leading HealthTech investment platform with rapid AuM growth, backed by top-tier LPs, investing from Seed to Series B
- Operating out of Munich, our portfolio spans Europe and the US, with investments across 10 countries
- The team is responsible for several lighthouse transactions in the sector, such as Biorce and Scan
Tasks
As a Principal, you will be working in an entrepreneurial setting, contributing across the entire investment lifecycle and playing a role in shaping the future of health tech in Europe. In this role, you will:
- Drive the investment process end-to-end, from sourcing to evaluation, due diligence, deal execution, and closing
- Lead deals into the investment committee and build the conviction case behind them
- Take board observer or board seats, and act as the primary partner to portfolio companies
- Develop and pressure-test investment theses in our focus areas, and translate sector deep dives into actionable pipeline
- Strengthen YZR's platform through research, tooling, and internal initiatives, and help build our network of founders and co-investors
- Support the GPs on internal projects
Requirements
- Strong entrepreneurial, analytical, and curious mindset
- 5+ years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, strategy consulting, or investment banking
- Demonstrated deal experience: sourcing, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing
- Enthusiasm for new business models in the field of health tech
- High motivation, initiative, and a collaborative spirit, with strong communication skills
- English proficiency, good knowledge of German (B2+)
