Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with private capital clients, including private equity firms, family offices, venture capital organizations, and their executives.
- Develop and implement customized personal and commercial insurance programs that align with clients' unique risk profiles.
- Advise clients on risk management strategies across personal assets, business operations, real estate holdings, and executive liability exposures.
- Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to negotiate coverage terms, renewals, and policy placements.
- Conduct coverage reviews and identify opportunities to enhance protection and mitigate risk.
- Support new business development efforts through prospect meetings, referrals, and industry networking.
- Maintain strong knowledge of market conditions, insurance trends, and emerging risks affecting private capital clients.
- Ensure exceptional client service by responding promptly to inquiries and coordinating policy changes, renewals, and claims support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in private client, commercial insurance, risk management, or related financial services roles.
- Strong understanding of property & casualty insurance solutions, including both personal and commercial lines.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex client portfolios and deliver consultative solutions.
- Insurance licensing required or ability to obtain upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience serving private equity, venture capital, family office, or high-net-worth clientele.
- Knowledge of executive protection, management liability, cyber, and specialty insurance products.
- Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, CRM, or equivalent.
