As the Senior Manager of Engineering Recruiting, you’ll lead a high-performing team of technical recruiters responsible for full-cycle hiring across all engineering roles. This is a strategic, high-impact leadership position where you’ll partner closely with engineering leadership to shape talent strategy, build strong pipelines, and deliver exceptional hiring outcomes that directly support Vanta’s product roadmap and growth.
We’re looking for a recruiting leader who knows that building great engineering teams requires a thoughtful blend of proactive sourcing, rigorous assessment, and an outstanding candidate experience. You’ll bring both strategic vision and operational discipline - setting a high bar for quality, coaching your team through complex hiring challenges, and developing scalable processes to support Vanta’s continued expansion.
In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to engineering leaders, using data and market insights to guide hiring decisions, influence team composition, and drive continuous improvement across the recruiting function.
What you’ll do as a Senior Manager, Engineering Recruiting at Vanta:
Recruiting Strategy & Vision: Build and refine recruiting strategies for complex engineering roles, leveraging market intelligence, talent mapping, and competitive insights. Translate business priorities into clear, executable hiring plans that drive consistent outcomes.
Engineering Partnership & Cross-Functional Influence: Partner closely with engineering leadership and cross-functional partners to translate business priorities into hiring strategies and evolve the interview process. Use data and market insight to guide decisions, and tailor communication across stakeholders to drive alignment.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop a team of technical recruiters responsible for full-cycle hiring across engineering. Foster a high-performing, healthy team through clear expectations, feedback, and coaching.
