We're hiring an Associate, Financial Services Partnerships to join the Consumer Business Development team within the Consumer & Business group. This team owns and scales Coinbase's most critical card issuing, payment network, and growth partner relationships. You'll support day-to-day partnership operations, help drive performance across the portfolio, and coordinate cross-functional execution that directly impacts how millions of customers transact on Coinbase.
What you'll do:
- Own day-to-day operational management of card issuing and payment network partner relationships, serving as a reliable point of contact for ongoing partnership needs
- Track and manage partnership milestones, KPIs, and performance metrics, flagging risks and driving resolution in collaboration with your manager
- Conduct research and analysis to support partner assessments, competitive landscape reviews, and new partnership opportunity evaluations
- Coordinate cross-functional workflows across legal, compliance, product, marketing, and finance to support partnership launches and ongoing execution
- Prepare briefings, materials, and summaries for partner meetings, business reviews, and internal stakeholder updates
- Surface data-driven insights to improve partner performance and inform strategic recommendations
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, strategy, or operations, with exposure to fintech, payments, or card products
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, tracking deliverables, timelines, and dependencies with minimal oversight
- Demonstrated analytical capability, including working with data to track performance, evaluate partnership economics, and develop actionable recommendations
