Salary: £30,000 - £34,000

Love solving problems? Enjoy getting out on site as much as working with data?
If you're naturally curious, analytical, and enjoy understanding how things work, this could be the perfect opportunity.
We're working with a large, purpose-driven organisation seeking a Service Charge Analyst to join its established Service Charge team.
The Role
As a Service Charge Analyst, you'll play an important role in ensuring service charges are accurate, transparent and compliant.
Working across multiple property portfolios, you'll analyse service charge information, review lease agreements and collaborate with operational teams to ensure costs are apportioned fairly.
Some travel to schemes across the UK will form part of the role, allowing you to validate property information first-hand and build strong relationships with colleagues across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and audit service charge schedules, identifying discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
- Visit properties across the UK to verify assets, service delivery and charging information.
- Work closely with Asset Management, Housing and Property teams to maintain accurate data and improve charging methodologies.
- Interpret lease agreements and tenancy documentation to ensure charges are applied correctly.
- Support the development of robust service charge models and continuous process improvements.
- Help ensure customers receive transparent, accurate and legally compliant service charges.
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys investigating issues, analysing information and finding practical solutions.
Rather than simply accepting what's in front of you, you'll naturally ask questions, challenge assumptions and enjoy getting to the root of a problem.
You'll also have:
- Experience within service charges, housing, property, finance, asset management or a data-focused analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and confidence using finance or housing management systems.
- Experience interpreting leasehold or tenancy agreements would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
