This announcement will close at 11:59 PM, on the day that 50 applications have been received or on the closing date, whichever is first.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Data Scientist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Developing and implementing advanced analytics and predictive modeling tools. Applying data science, statistical, machine learning, and artificial intelligence methods to analyze data and generate insights. Using survey data, health care data, electronic records, vital records, and unstructured data sources to conduct analyses. Collecting, linking, processing, mining, coding, classifying, and analyzing public health surveillance, survey, research, and administrative data. Working closely with Data Scientists, Mathematical Statisticians, Health Statisticians, Computer Scientists, Computer Programmers, and subject matter experts. Collaborating with statistical, data science, artificial intelligence, and public health professionals on research and analytics projects. Producing reports addressing substantive data science issues, methodologies, results, and recommendations; Prepares presentations and briefing materials for scientific staff, federal, state, and local partners, and health officials.
