As a Group Product Marketing Manager on the Base Marketing team, you'll drive the GTM strategy and operations that generate demand and build trust for Base across developers, builders, and enterprises. This team is responsible for positioning Base as the leading Layer 2 for bringing the world onchain. You'll operate as a player-coach, owning high-priority launches and events while managing a small team of PMMs and running the operating rhythm that keeps the team shipping high-quality work on time.
What you'll do:
- Own GTM strategy and execution for priority products and audiences, including positioning, messaging, and launch planning that drives measurable adoption.
- Lead cross-functional launches with Product, BD, CDP, DevRel, Comms, Legal, and Compliance, translating complex technical capabilities into clear narratives that resonate with developers and builders.
- Drive marketing operations for the team, including planning, prioritization, process design, and the operating cadence that keeps a fast-moving team delivering on time.
- Manage a team of up to 2 PMMs in a player-coach capacity, setting quality standards for storytelling and GTM execution while personally owning key workstreams.
- Shape Base's global events strategy and deliver end-to-end event presence, from flagship conferences to owned activations including Base Batches.
- Define and report on launch performance, adoption, pipeline influence, and partner amplification metrics, optimizing against them to inform ongoing strategy.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years in product marketing or GTM roles, including direct experience leading and managing a marketing team with measurable adoption or revenue outcomes.
- Track record of owning end-to-end GTM launches from strategy through execution, with demonstrated results in driving product adoption or pipeline growth.
- Proven experience running marketing operations and/or events at scale, delivering both the daily operating rhythm and high-visibility moments.
