The incumbent serves as the senior Designated Foreign Disclosure Authority for the Joint Staff who maintains oversight and issuance of delegated authority to Joint Staff and combatant command foreign disclosure officers. SPECIALIST (INTERNATIONAL SECURITY AFFAIRS-DISCLOSURE) at the GS-0080-15 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves as the Joint Staff subject matter expert (SME) with responsibility for oversight and policy development for Foreign Disclosure and is responsible for developing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the status of the Component programs at all Joint Staff locations. Serves as the Program Manager and technical authority for Department of Defense Directive 5230.11, Disclosure of Classified Military Information (CMI) to Foreign Governments and International Organizations. Administers National Disclosure Policy (NDP) and serves as the Chairman and Combatant Commanders' representative to the interagency National Disclosure Policy Committee (NDPC). Receives, analyzes, and responds to all actions and requests for foreign disclosure sent to the Joint Staff. Develops policy for Joint Staff procedures and processes to provide foreign disclosure support to Joint Staff activities. Manages and represents Joint Staff and Combatant Command requests for Exceptions to National Disclosure Policy (ENDP).
