For more information please see: ACQDEMO This position is part of the Director for Test Organization. The incumbent will be responsible for providing input to acquisition decisions based on assessment of the adequacy of test and evaluation programs and assessment of the results of tests and evaluation.As an Interdisciplinary General Engineer/Operations Research Analyst at the NH-0801/1515-4 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serving as Aegis Based Defense Test (ABT's) embedded Test Functional liaison to Aegis Adaptations (ABZ) Program Office. Supporting the development, testing, and fielding of the Aegis System Equipped Vessel (ASEV) Japan Foreign Military Sales program as the Test and Evaluation Lead. Develop and plan and provide execution oversight of the Japan Flight Tests associated with the ASEV program. Training and qualifying as an Aegis Element Lead and Flight Test Mission Director in support of Japan Flight Tests. Leading the US-Japan Bilateral Test and Evaluation Integrated Product Team to develop and optimize the shipboard test and evaluation plan for ASEV Ship 1 and Ship 2. Coordinating the development and execution of Combat Systems System Ship's Qualification Trials for ASEV Ship 1 and Ship 2 to provide adequate objective data to support a program certification recommendation. Providing subject matter expertise and support to the Aegis Adaptations Program Office and the Aegis Based Defense Test Directorate as required.
