As a Senior Finance & Strategy Manager on the Core FP&A team, you'll provide CFO-level financial partnership to critical support functions across Coinbase, including People, Legal, Compliance, Policy, and Finance. This team sits at the center of company-wide resource allocation, investment strategy, and long-term financial planning. You'll partner directly with multiple C-level executives and their leadership teams to shape how Coinbase deploys capital and scales its operations, while leading and developing a team of finance professionals.
- Own the financial health of multiple major functional areas, serving as the primary finance partner to 3+ C-level executives and their leadership teams on resource allocation, investment strategy, and long-term planning.
- Drive the vision for how Finance partners with the business by identifying and implementing new analytical frameworks, efficiency opportunities, and operational improvements.
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, setting clear performance expectations and building a culture of strategic thinking and continuous improvement.
- Partner cross-functionally with People, Legal, Compliance, Policy, and Finance leadership to align on budgets, forecasts, headcount planning, and strategic priorities.
- Shape company-wide investment decisions by building financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases that inform executive decision-making.
- Execute regular financial reporting and variance analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership and the CFO's office.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, or a combination of these roles (investment banking experience counts), with a significant portion spent in leadership roles at high-growth technology companies.
- At least 2 years of direct people management experience, with a track record of coaching and developing finance professionals.
- Demonstrated success as a strategic partner to C-level executives
